| ...doncha think you should have had a car alarm installed after the first one? You are lucky this time yet AGAIN, I would hope you would be wise enough to invest $500 into good security (the price of a deductible anyways) this time around to add protection to your MULTIPLE THOUSAND DOLLAR toy... I am under the premise that the first upgrade to a Z should in fact be a high quality alarm system. Nothing is fool proof but it betters your chances. This whole ordeal could have possibly been prevented just with the little red light most alarm systems have because the guy who broke in probably would have thought "this wouldnt be worth the hassle/attention/difficulty" as he came by a-lookin. Not only are aftermarket alarms more advanced than factory ones, but piece of mind is invaluable. Dont make this mistake again. Beyond that, the nice neighborhood thing is totally bogus -
If I were a thief, the first places I would go are nice areas (duh). People in nicer areas 1) Have nicer/more expensive stuff and 2)live like you did under a false pretense of security (people leave doors unlocked more often, etc). Sorry to burn you on this one man, but you need it for your own safety and that of your investment. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice BIG SHAME on me. This is your Z dude, take care of it...
